I heard TWO of his lectures, shook his hand TWICE, wrote him a brief NOTE, gave him a small GIFT, and had him autograph FIVE items (not all at the same time!).
He is adorable, witty, amazing, brilliant, loves Obama, and not above gossip or the occasional off-color story. I am heading out now, but more on my amazing encounter later!

I hope you have great food (but not TOO much) and I hope you don't have to do a lot of cooking or cleaning.
Mostly I hope you don't have to TRAVEL. That can be insane, especially this weekend.
(We used to go to DC for EVERY Thanksgiving, and it was great to see family, but it is also nice to stay home this year.)
BTW - are you going to take the day OFF from counting calories? Just one day?

Absolutely. For yesterday, the calories didn't count. Or the day before, for that matter.
I find my days off are my "cheat days," and I have more control on the days when I work.
I'm glad I work more days in a week than I have off.
